Meet the Team
Paul has been with the Toyota brand for over 30 years and with the Jemca Car Group for 10 of them. Paul stated he would not work for any other manufacturer and many of his family and friends have been driving Toyota’s for years due to their innovation, reliability and build quality. He went on to state; Jemca believe in putting their customers first in everything they do to deliver the high levels of service and convenience you would expect. Jemca employees are highly trained, passionate and dedicated to looking after you as a valued loyal customer for years to come. General Sales Manager
Paul started in the Motor Trade Industry in 1997 as a Sales Executive. He has also held roles such as Used Car Controller and General Sales Manager. Paul mentioned that “I like working for Toyota because it’s a fantastic product and has a loyal customer base. Jemca has given me many opportunities I never received at any of the previous companies I worked for.” For Paul “the customer’s expect to be treated well, and professionally. If you don’t treat the customers properly then you will not survive in your business arena.”
Andy started as an apprentice technician and then held various roles such as Reception Service Advisor, Service Manager, After Sales Manager, Sales Director and General Manager. Andy is now the Service Manager at Jemca Toyota Reading. Andy commented that “I enjoy Toyota; I certainly enjoy the support I have received from Toyota Head office, which has helped solve any issues that may have occurred. This makes the job easier and enjoyable. Jemca are very responsive and are very supportive.” For Andy the key values of customer service are “I put myself in the customer’s position and see what they are trying to achieve from their visit to us. I make sure that we give them that and provide value for money.”
Andrew has worked in Car Sales for over 6 years. Andrew mentioned that he "liked Toyota because they build good quality, reliable vehicles to give customers peace of mind." For Andrew "customer service is important so that the customer feels comfortable when dealing with us for Sales & Service."
Market Area Parts Manager
Christy has been with Toyota for the past 22 years. Christy commented that “I like working for Toyota because they are a worldwide company. They are the biggest and best.” Christy sees customer service in a different light, “I don’t think its customer service, but it is customer delight. We need to give people our undivided attention at all time and making sure they have a good experience when they come to us.”
Corporate Sales Executive
Prior to working for Jemca Tracy worked for 14 years at another manufacturer in various roles such as accounts, admin, retails sales, customer service and then got into fleet. Tracy mentioned that she liked “working for Toyota because of the reliability of the manufacturer. Also, the manufacturer involves us a lot more and I get to speak to people who will give me answers and get information of future products before they come out. Jemca is a lot more personal and you can rectify things quickly”. For Tracy it is important from a customer service point of view to “ensure that whether a customer buys from us or not their experience is good from start to finish”.
